Roles And Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal counsel and guidance tailored to the specific needs and objectives of our firm.
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and legal documents to safeguard our interests and mitigate risks.
- Advise on compliance matters, ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (ie.tax)
- Represent our firm in legal proceedings, including litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution, if necessary.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to stay abreast of evolving legal developments and their implications for our business.
- Offer strategic advice on intellectual property protection, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
- Assist with corporate governance matters, such as entity formation, governance structures, and board governance.
- Provide employment law guidance, including drafting employment agreements, policies, and procedures, and advising on workplace disputes and compliance issues.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions, including due diligence, negotiation, and documentation.
- Offer ongoing legal advice and support across various areas of law, addressing any legal issues or concerns that may arise in the course of our operations, acting as a trusted advisor to company leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of legal experience, ensuring adept counsel and maximizing the advantages of our partnership.
- Demonstrate proficiency and specialization in relevant areas of law, ensuring comprehensive and effective legal representation.
- Timely and proactive communication, with a commitment to addressing all stakeholder inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Upholding the highest ethical standards and integrity in all dealings, maintaining all stakeholders’ trust and confidence.
- Ability to adapt to changing legal landscapes and evolving stakeholder needs, offering innovative solutions and strategies.
- Focused on understanding and prioritizing stakeholder goals and objectives, delivering personalized and stakeholder -centered legal services.
- Proactively taking the initiative to highlight pertinent matters to the Board of Directors.
Terms and Conditions
- This position has a 3 month probationary period (salary-paid) during which the candidate's performance will be evaluated to make a further decision.
- While serving in position for 1 year, the person will not gain any equity in the business.
- The individual/firm must maintain strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary and sensitive information related to the products and services, as well as the partnership information (except what has been specifically permitted in the agreements and other documents).
- All services provided by the individual/firm must be delivered according to the specifications and deadlines outlined in the contract.
- Candidate individuals/firms must submit their best proposals about how they (as a team) can manage Tunnelise related matters in their region.
